Emergency exits

In general, UAB buildings, in addition to the usual exits, have emergency exits. Emergency exits must be used only in case of an emergency. These doors are equipped with electromagnets to prevent intrusions. In several UAB buildings, these electromagnets are released when the alarm sounds. There are also push buttons that deactivate the door electromagnets.

If during an evacuation, when pushing the panic bar you find the door blocked, you must press the button that releases the door. This action will help you evacuate and assist others who may not be aware of this information.
