More than 40 students participating in the CROMA programme, run by the Fundació Autònoma Solidària, came to the Institute to present their projects and visit our laboratories.

Over the weekend of April 18–19, the Festa de la Ciència in Barcelona took place, and both the Institute and Neurodocs joined in with a wide range of activities!

Once again, researchers from the Institute will take part in the Barcelona Science Festival, which will be held on April 18 and 19.

To mark Brain Awareness Week, the Institute of Neuroscience and the Neurodocs doctoral association are organizing Cervella’t, a series of online outreach talks that will bring neuroscience research closer to the general public.

On November 12th, coinciding with Science Week, we held our traditional open house event, with more than a dozen laboratories taking part.

The Neurotalent Games, organized by the Rosa M. Vivar Foundation with the collaboration of the INc-UAB, returned for its third edition to promote cognitive health and the prevention of neurocognitive diseases.

On March 14th, UniStem Day 2025 took place, a special event dedicated to stem cells and advanced therapies for high school students.

We spoke with Dr. Alex Taylor, coordinator of the Animal Minds Lab, who told us about the focus of his research and what is currently known about animal intelligence.
