Research Group on the Rights of Spanish and Foreign Workers

The Drets dels Treballadors Espanyols i Estrangers Research Group (DRELATES) - Research Group on the Rights of Spanish and Foreign Workers was recognised as an emerging research group by the Government of Catalonia in 2009. It has been recognised as a Consolidated Research Group (GRC) since 2014 and is currently recognised within the SGR-Cat programme as 2021SGR01305.

In recent years, the group’s research has focused on areas including the legal framework governing the employment of persons with disabilities and people experiencing or at risk of social exclusion; the involvement of public administrations and workers’ representatives in corporate restructuring processes; corporate social responsibility; the legal framework governing the employment of older workers; and the analysis of ongoing legislative reforms in labour and social security law.
