Andrea Martín Gallego is a predoctoral researcher in Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), where she is affiliated with the Department of Applied Sociology and the Complutense Institute of Sociology for the Study of Contemporary Social Transformations (TRANSOC). She is currently a visiting researcher at the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Salamanca and a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from the Carlos III-Juan March Institute.
Her doctoral research examines men’s transitions into female-dominated occupations in Spain, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Her research interests include horizontal gender segregation in the labour market, the construction and evolution of work-related masculine identities, and mixed-methods research. As part of the INCASI2 project, she has also completed a research stay at Middlesex University.

Sofia Maratheas is a predoctoral researcher in the National PhD Programme in Gender Studies at the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro (Italy). She is currently a visiting researcher at the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Her doctoral research focuses on the relationship between gender, mobility and safety in public space. In particular, she examines how urban spaces are shaped and experienced from a gender perspective, as well as the inequalities affecting access to, mobility within and use of public space. Her broader research interests also include the right to the city, citizenship, and feminist and transfeminist approaches to public space.

Lucia Amorosi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Trento (Italy). She is currently a visiting researcher at the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She holds a PhD in Economic Sociology and Labour Studies from the University of Milan and has conducted research at the Scuola Normale Superiore and the University of Manchester.
Her research focuses on domestic labour, trade unions, migrant labour and labour exploitation from an intersectional and interdisciplinary perspective. She is currently a member of LUMINE - Labor Unions, Migrant Workers and Ethnic Inequalities, a project examining trade unions, migrant workers and ethnic inequalities from a comparative European perspective.

Francesco Bonifacio is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy). He is currently a visiting researcher at the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His research experience includes the ORIGAMI project, which examines transformations in personal and household services and the role of digital platforms.
His main research interests focus on the digitalisation of social and organisational phenomena, with particular attention to digital platforms and digital labour. In 2023, he published Fare il rider: pratiche, saperi e traiettorie di una professione emergente, a book on the work of food-delivery platform couriers. He also teaches Sociology of Consumption at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and is a member of the editorial boards of Comunicazioni Sociali and Tecnoscienza.

Elena Tsipas Mancinotti is a predoctoral researcher at Universitas Mercatorum (Rome, Italy). She is currently a visiting researcher at the Centre d’Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball (QUIT) - Sociological Research Centre on Everyday Life and Work at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where she is working with Dr Joan Miquel Verd to further develop the methodological framework of her research.
Her doctoral thesis critically examines the role of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) in the context of the green transition and sustainability policies, approaching them as emerging forms of energy and territorial governance. Drawing on a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective, her research explores regulatory and multilevel governance dimensions, social participation and inclusion, as well as the potential of RECs to generate alternative narratives to dominant models of energy development.

Severo Ochoa Predoctoral Researcher at the University of Oviedo.
Her research specialises in social and employment policies, and she has worked across a range of areas including employment, education, industrial relations, imprisonment and inequalities. She is currently completing her doctoral thesis, which examines structural changes in public employment services from a comparative perspective across the European Union.

Tiago Vieira is a predoctoral researcher at the European University Institute (Florence, Italy).
His research interests include employment relations and workers’ social and political subjectivities, with a particular focus on the digital economy. His doctoral thesis specifically examines the impact of algorithmic management tools on work and employment relations.

Associate Professor of Labour and Social Security Law at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds a degree in Political Science and a PhD in Law, and has also completed doctoral coursework in Sociology and Social Anthropology at UCM. He is a member of the Complutense Institute of Administrative Science and of the EGECO - Employment, Gender and Cohesion research group, led by Professor Amparo Serrano.
He is currently undertaking a research stay at the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as part of the 2021-2023 Spanish University System Requalification Programme, awarded by UCM and funded by the Spanish Ministry of Universities through the European Union’s NextGenerationEU funds.
He has carried out research stays at the Employment Research Institute at Edinburgh Napier University and has been a visiting lecturer at several universities abroad.
From 2016 to 2023, he was Director of the School of Labour Relations at the Complutense University of Madrid. He also coordinates the Seminar Series on equality, employment, work-life balance, co-responsibility and gender-based violence, which will hold its sixth edition this year with competitive co-funding from the Spanish Institute of Women.

Tania Fabrina Corsetti holds a degree in Anthropology and a university teaching qualification in Anthropology from the National University of Rosario (UNR), as well as a Master’s Degree in Power and Society from a Gender Perspective from the same university. She is a CONICET doctoral fellow and a PhD candidate in Anthropology at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
Her research is based at ISHIR (Socio-Historical Regional Research Institute – CONICET-UNR) and is supervised by Dr Laura Pasquali and co-supervised by Gloria Rodríguez. Her work focuses particularly on different issues related to the world of work from a gender perspective.
She also teaches the course Psychology of Work at the Faculty of Psychology of the National University of Rosario.
