IET

The Institute for Labour Studies (IET) was formally established as a UAB research institute on 7 April 2011.

The Institute for Labour Studies was created with the aim of promoting, developing and disseminating research on work, including domestic and care work, and labour relations.

IET researchers are specialists from sociology, law, economics, medicine and other disciplines concerned with work. This diversity enables the Institute to adopt a multidisciplinary approach, which is essential for addressing the different realities, meanings, implications and challenges of work in our societies.
