Dr. Estíbaliz Royuela Colomer, lecturer at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, carried out a teachingstay at Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania) between 30 March and 3 April 2026. The stay was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme for teaching and research staff, which promotes international mobility and collaboration between European universities.

Professor David Sánchez‑Carracedo received an honourable mention for the Best Oral Communication at the 15th AEETCA Congress, held in Málaga from March 18 to 21, under the theme “Navegando hacia la recuperación de los TCA”. The award was given for the presentation of the study “Cuando el estigma y el peso se retroalimentan: primera evidencia en España de la relación bidireccional entre estigma y obesidad en adolescentes”, conducted together with Joana Estrada Vila and Albert Fornieles‑Deu.

Dr. Lorena Chanes, researcher at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), recently participated as a speaker in a seminar organized by the Fundación Tatiana focused on the book Neurociencia de la Conciencia: Una visión crítica de su abordaje científico actual (Tecnos, 2025). The event was held in Madrid on January 21, 2026, and brought together specialists in neuroscience, philosophy, and related disciplines to discuss contemporary approaches to the study of human consciousness.

Second Teaching Innovation Seminar of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, "AI and health: from the classroom to clinical practice"

It took place on December 10, 2025 and it was organized by Dimitra Anastasiadou, head of teaching innovation of the department, and was attended by around twenty people, including psychology faculty and UAB students. The aim of the seminar was to reflect on the ethical, scientific, and practical implications of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential to improve health training and the future clinical practice of students.
