With the publication of “Social and occupational aspects related to persistent low back pain in women geriatric nursing assistents”, Professor Albert Feliu Soler reaches the milestone of 100 articles published in journals indexed in SCOPUS.

Professor David Sánchez-Carracedo, from the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), presented the study Weight Bias and Disordered Eating: A Longitudinal Study in Spanish Adolescents at the International Congress on Eating Disorders (ICED) 2025, held in San Antonio, Texas (USA), on May 30th, during a dedicated session on stigma.

The Research and Communication Committee of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology has selected “The effect of cumulative trauma and polarised thinking on severity of depressive disorder” as the article of the month for June.

The Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) has selected Dr. Pilar Torrecilla as the recipient of the 2025 Early Career Award. This award supported her attendance at the SIRS annual conference held in Chicago, USA, from March 29 to April 2, 2025. This recognition is granted to early-career researchers who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to schizophrenia research through investigation, teaching, and clinical practice.
