The UAB student card is a unique identification and accreditation tool for members of the university community that gives you free access to the different services of the University.
At the time of online application to a UAB-specific master’s degree, graduate diploma or specialization course at UAB you must upload a passport-type photograph card through the online application. The photograph is part of the documentation required for the application.
Following the admission and later enrolment in your programme of choice, the Graduate School issues your student card automatically. It will arrive at the postal address you indicated in the application at the time of enrolment.
If you have formalized your enrolment in a master's degree, graduate diploma or specialization course that is conducted in an UAB affiliated centre, you must apply for a student card through the Graduate School’s Online Requests:
With your personal number of university identification (NIU, by its Spanish/Catalan spelling) on your student card and a password you can generate via this link, you can access various services of our University:
- Identify yourself as a member of the university community.
- Access many of the campus services (libraries, booking of diverse academic materials, etc.).
- Enjoy benefits and discounts in commercial services.
If you have any issues regarding your card (it does not arrive on time, you want to change the photograph before the card is processed, etc.), you must report through the Graduate School’s Online Requests:
