Residential placements provide students of the Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management with their first opportunity to make contact with the hotel and catering sectors.
The placements last 15 weeks: 5 in each of the 3 areas (reception, kitchens and restaurant), and take place in the UAB Hotel Campus, located opposite the School. They correspond to the following subjects:
- Accommodation Management I and Accommodation Management II (Reception)
- Kitchen Management I and Kitchen Management II (Kitchen)
- Restaurant Management I and Restaurant Management II (Restaurant)
Hotel Campus UABThe Hotel Campus is located within the School premises themselves and is used for students' residential placements. It has 104 rooms, a conference hall of over 2,500 m2 that can hold 900 people, and the Marmita restaurant, which offers traditional cuisine.
It is the ideal venue for placements, allowing students to put their learning into practice and use service and management techniques in real situations in the different departments.
Currently the hotel is managed by GRUPO HOTUSA.
