Upon arrival at the UAB

You will need to:

Register at the INTERNATIONAL WELCOME POINT - IWP

The first thing you must do once you arrive at the UAB is to come to the International Support Service (ISS) set in Plaça Cívica (maps of the Bellaterra campus available at http://www.uab.es, link “About the UAB”).

Course 2021/22: Due to Covid19, attendance at the International Support Service is replaced by a virtual meeting. Before your formal enrolment in our School, it is necessary to have attended the on-line meeting with the International Support Service (ISS) . You will receive the details of this on line meeting by e-mail.

Your arrival will be recorded and you will find the following services:  

  • International student card, which will identify you as a UAB student. You must provide your passport or identity card.
  • Information about UAB.
  • Information about accommodation.
  • Some practical information about life in Barcelona and its surrounding area (transport, advantages for students, etc.).
  • Help solving your problems during your stay with us.
  • Information about visas.

Enrolment (Exchange Coordinator at the School)
Your enrolment form will be sent to you by e-mail or ask the Coordinator (albert.vancells@uab.cat)

Documents required for registration:
• Learning Agreement/Acuerdo Académico, duly signed by your Exchange Coordinator.
• Photocopy of your medical insurance (except for SICUE students).
Photocopy of your Passport.

Enrolment to courses from other UAB’s faculties

Remember that you could enroll to courses from other faculties, but at less a 50% should be from the School of Tourism and Hotel Management.

You should check in every faculty’s website the information, courses and steps to enroll.
