Mission, Vision and Values of the Faculty

MISSION

Our mission is to organise the teachings and academic, administrative and management processes of studies aimed at obtaining bachelor's and postgraduate degrees, or graduate degrees, in the field of science and technology that have been assigned to us by the competent bodies of the UAB, as well as to ensure the highest quality of the training of the faculty students.

VISION

The Faculty of Sciences will work to be a top-level innovative centre, responding quickly to the training demands of society in scientific matters, where students will be satisfied with their expectations of human and academic growth in an environment of freedom, respect and personal progress and prepare them with full guarantees of entry into the labour market.

VALUES

The values of the Faculty of Sciences are:

• Attention to the quality of the service and the care received by the student and the scientific and academic level of his or her teacher.
• Respect and tolerance towards ideas and people, fighting against any form of discrimination that goes against the dignity or any particular trait of people.
• Social, economic and environmental sustainability, from the responsible use of public goods and from training that has one of its basic axes in social responsibility.
