XV International Symposium on Young Research in Translation, Interpreting, Intercultural Studies and East Asian Studies
The symposium aims to promote reflection, study and research and to offer young researchers the opportunity to present their work. It will be held on July 11, 2025, at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the UAB.

The International Symposium on Young Researchers in Translation, Interpreting, Intercultural Studies and East Asian Studies is back, celebrating its fifteenth edition this year. As in previous years, the symposium will be a space for young researchers to present their research.
It will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the UAB. Dr. Luís Pegenaute, full professor of Translation at the Pompeu Fabra University, will open the symposium with the plenary lecture Time and Space in the History of Translation. In this presentation, Dr. Pegenaute will address fundamental aspects of the methodology of the historiography of translation.
