UAB ranks 14 in the list of young universities

In the QS ranking of the top 50 universities founded less than 50 years ago, UAB ranks 14 and occupies the best position of all universities in Spain. Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universitat Pompeu Fabra respectively occupy positions 19 and 39.

QS, specialising in the assessment of educational and research institutes, has just published the new QS Top 50 Under 50, a classification of the 50 top universities around the world that were founded less than 50 years ago. According to the ranking, UAB occupies 14th place. Apart from UAB, only three other universities in Spain can be found in the ranking: Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (19); Universitat Pompeu Fabra (39) and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (50).

The ranking includes centres from 23 different countries, with Australia occupying 10 positions in the ranking, followed by the UK with seven.
