Some UAB libraries, specifically the Science and Technology Library, the Social Sciences Library and the Humanities and Map Library, add to the celebrations generated around the 300 anniversary of "11 de setembre de 1714", presenting articles, resources and bibliographic tools to help you understand the legacy of a vivid society, the meaning of a defeat, and to encourage reflection on our future.
To carry out this exhibition we had the valuable help of professors: Lluís Roura i Aulinas from Departament d'Història Moderna i Contemporània, Sebastià Solé i Cot from Departament de Dret Públic i de Ciències Historicojurídiques, Agustí Nieto-Galan from Centre d'Història de la Ciència, CEHIC, and Francesc Xavier Vall Solaz from Departament de Filologia Catalana, which have collaborated with several items to be found in the website: http://pagines.uab.cat/biblioteques1714 and give us a view of the events of 1714.
We also had the help of SIBHIL·LA. Servei d'Informació Bibliogràfica i de Documentació d'Història, Llengua, Literatura i Art de Catalunya which have collaborated with an extensive bibliography that will help users find resources on the events of 1714.
During September and October 2014 visit the bibliographic exhibitions organized at the Science and Technology Library, the Social Sciences Library and the Humanities and Map Library.
