The BoFestival is a cultural, living arts experience taking place in unique areas of the Vallès Occidental county. It is open to everyone interested in discovering modern artistic proposals, and ins directed and produced by the artist Marc Olivé and the producer Elclimamola.

Participants will visit five locations in which a specific action will be taking place. According to the organisers, these locations "are connected to each other through a nomadic tie, a creative walk that will awaken the senses and nourish each person's curiousity". The festival will include the presence of creators from different disciplines who will foster the generation of intersections between artistic languages and thus mutually contaminate each of the other arts.

The festival has also prepared meetings of thought with UAB members which will focus on creation, nature, and sustainability, as well as social actions seen from a critical, transversal and inclusive creative perspective. The UAB participates in two such activities which will begin on campus.

On Friday 21 October, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., a peripatetic walk will be offered that will take participants to different parts of the UAB campus. This meeting aims to be both a stimulating tool and a laboratory of ideas. Participants will meet in front of the Plaça Cívica's Theatre Hall. This activity will take place outside of lecture halls, as an active and practical, experimental and participative activity.

A cross-curricular team will accompany and motivate participants: Jèssica Jaques Pi, lecturer of Arts Aesthetics and Theory at the UAB and academic head of the artivist group Artencurs, together with Vivian Friedrich and Veronica Capozzoli, contemporary circus artists, creators and thinkers; Núria Guiu, choreographer, performer, researcher and anthropologist; and Daniela Callejas, artist and researcher at the UAB.

On Saturday 22 October, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., an artistic walk will be offered. The walk will begin at the UAB exit's roundabout in front of the FCC's Bellaterra train station and will end at the Casa Vila-Puig, located on the UAB campus, where musical performances and refreshments will be served.

The BoFestival was created so that audiences and artists could share one same space in which to hold a stimulating and transformative cultural action, in which creativity could be rooted and quality contemporary creations made by local artists could become accessible to all.
