The UAB hosts the 2nd Challenge-Based Learning Day, which will bring together different sessions related to this learning methodology based on real experiences. The first session, entitled “The implementation of CBL at the University”, will start at 10:00 a.m. and will be presented by Ramon Vilanova, vice-rector for Studies and Quality at the UAB, and conducted by Stefano Turrini, coordinator of the implementation of CBL at the University of Trento.

In addition, two students, Míriam Hernández and Nys Garcia, who took part in the definition and resolution of challenges, will also participate.

At 12 noon, UAB Sociology Professor Teresa Sordé will talk about the social impact when solving challenges found in the regions. This will be followed by Òscar Redondo, challenges coordinator, who will talk about the support available to those interested in implementing CBL as a teaching methodology.

At 12:30 p.m. there will be two parallel sessions where the series of experiences gathered in the previous sessions will be presented, and the challenges of the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès (Classroom 1) and the challenges of Nexe Fundació (Classroom 2) will be discussed.
