The UAB Student Societies do not stop: check their new online activities

Despite the lockdown, the UAB Student Societies do not stop: using new technologies and ocial media, they have organized some activities to keep in touch with the university community and entertain people with whom they share interests during the lockdown.

Korean Club is recommending K-Dramas through Instagram, so you can watch them during these days. The first one has been Oh Yeon Joo. It is a TV series about a surgeon who meets a fictional character while searching for her missing dad.  The Centaures are publishing the Daily Centaures, in which you can find interviews to the team members, the coronaolimpics and, as a new initiative to entertain during the confinement, with oral speeches given by the new team members. The Club Alpí Universitari, also through Instagram, is doing a summary of recommendations and gives classes about mountaineering:  what is the best way to clip, how to fasten the rope…  this week is doing a class on climbing, but the topic varies every week.

On the other hand, Chess UAB, organizes next 1st April a virtual chess tournament through the lichess.org platform, which you can access using the code "Chessuab" and the Assemblea Filcat has extended the deadline until 15th May to present the works of the II Contest of Young Literature of the Catalan Countries. ESN UAB will hold a bingo on 1st  April and on 7th April, a makeup workshop.
 
Other societies will announce more activities soon, such as a drawing contest organized by Ramen Club or a Teamfight Tactics tournament by Gamers UAB. Last week, the  Grup d'Argumentació i Debat organized the I BP GAD UAB digital tournament, which had a great success of participation and Ganàpies made an online electronic party, despite the confinement, with an apocalyptic theme, of course!
