The UAB's Argó Programme awards 10 vocational training research projects

The awarded students presented their projects, which covered topics as diverse as tissue regeneration, lung health, the professional application of artificial intelligence for emotional well-being, a sustainable model of fashion, and the development of organic farms, among others. The projects presented in this edition included twelve individual and 29 group entries. In total, 129 students from 22 educational centres across Catalonia participated.

In his remarks, José Luis Muñoz, UAB Vice-Rector for Teacher Training and Educational Innovation, congratulated the award winners and expressed his gratitude for "the work of the educational centres, the families, and the entire team at our university's Institute of Educational Sciences." He also praised the winning projects: "Just today, we have seen high-quality proposals—well-structured and capable of addressing a wide variety of needs." The awards also recognise "perseverance, the ability to keep going when things don't work out the first time, and the determination to see things through to the end."

Muñoz praised the fact that the Argó awards represent "a meeting of people who share the conviction that it is worth dedicating time and effort to doing things well." The director of the ICE-UAB, Edelmira Badillo, also praised these 23 editions of this project, which has enabled "hundreds of students to spend time at the UAB, receive guidance on their research projects, and participate in activities at the faculties." Badillo also highlighted the synergies established with secondary school teachers and wished to express special thanks for the work carried out by Eulàlia Serrano and Anna Ortiz as the programme's coordinators.
