The UAB resumes its activities under its contingency plan
The UAB Contingency Plan and Organisation Protocol defines how the University will operate starting on 1 September. All academic activities also began on 14 September according to the academic planning of each centre.

Starting on 1 September, the UAB will resume its activities while taking all precautions set down by its Contingency Plan and Organisation Protocol, passed by the Governing Council on 21 July 2020. This document covers the main guidelines to be followed when organising tasks in the University's different activity sectors, which have been set down under the basic principle of preserving the safety of all members of the university community.
In this sense, foreseeing that a return to university activities must be accompanied by a maximum of services made available to the different university sectors, the plan includes flexibilisation and remote working measures in several academic, research and administrative activities, as well as prevention and protection measures such as the use of masks, interpersonal destance, priority given to online and phone services, etc.
Moreover, the experience of the past few months has demonstrated that the situation caused by Covid-19 is in constant evolution and that there is the need to adapt precautions and guidelines to these changes. For this reason, the UAB's governing and management teams are working alongside other Catalan universities and government authorities to adapt to any new measures that may be announced by the healthcare authorities as quickly as possible.
