After the university break, a new term begins and so do the Tandem sessions every Wednesday and Thursday. This term, we will be offering a new course: “Introduction to Theatrical Performance in English”. Are you going to miss it?

This new term, we are taking up again the Tandem sessions every Wednesday and Thursday, starting on 8 February on occasion of the International Welcome Days. The Tandem programme is a great chance to practise foreign languages and meet new people from all over the world.

As we did last term, we offer you 3 different dates every week to meet and practise languages with us: every Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sala d’Actes of l’Àgora building (Plaça Cívica); every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting; and, again, every Thursday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Faculty of Education. There you will be able to practise foreign languages in conversation groups, find a Tandem partner and meet other UAB students. Moreover, other language-related activities are organized, such as watching films in their original version, with subtitles in the same language.

This term, the Tandem programme offers a new course: “Introduction to Theatrical Performance in English”. A distinguishing feature of this course is that the scripts and other learning materials used in it are written in English. Thus, a B1 level of English will be demanded. The course will be run by Harris Gordon, a professional actor and director from Canada. This activity can be recognized with 1 ECTS credit.
