The Tàndem on the lawn

The last activity of the Tàndem will take place on 19 May, from 1 pm to 3 pm. We will meet in the Plaça Cívica, but the activity will be on the lawn of the Social Sciences Library. Just bring food and eagerness to practise languages.

The academic year comes to its end and says goodbye until next year. This activity organised by the Community Involvement Unit offers you the opportunity to practise different languages and get to know other cultures and ways, and at the same time you can help other people to practise the languages they want to improve or learn.

Throughout the academic year the Tàndem has met every Wednesday from 3 pm to 5 pm in the Sala d'Actes and every Thursday from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting. One of the Tàndem’s activities is the Speed Tàndem, in which there are tables for each language and your language partner changes every five minutes. There is also the Speaking Time, which consists of games and activities in groups.

Because of the start of summer vacations, the last Tàndem session will take place on 19 May from 1 pm to 3 pm. The meeting point will be the Plaça Cívica, but the activity will take place on the lawn in front of the Social Sciences Library. You just need to bring food and eagerness to learn!
