The Sala Cinema UAB projects Venim a crear. Institucions culturals per a tothom, a documentary about art and social inclusion

This documentary, made by Cecilia Barriga, collects the results of the INARTdis project, and shows the creative processes that have taken place in six European countries, where people with and without disabilities have participated in collaborative artistic creation.

The INARTdis project, led by the Center for Studies and Research for an Inclusive Society (CERSIN) of the UAB, aims to promote social inclusion through art and culture accessible to everyone. The project, which began in 2020 and concluded this November, has brought together 32 socio-educational institutions with 34 European artistic and cultural institutions, promoting collaborative artistic creation. 

In Catalonia, more than 150 people from 12 educational and socio-educational centers, as well as cultural institutions such as the MNAC, the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya and the DHub, have actively collaborated in this project. The INARTdis project has highlighted the importance of art as a means to promote social inclusion and diversity in cultural and educational spaces.

The screening of the documentary will be followed by the cineforum Espais Artístics Inclusius, which will be attended by Josep Maria Sanahuja, director of CERSIN of the UAB; Mar Morón, associate professor of the Department of Didactics of Musical, Plastic, and Body Expression at the UAB; Sònia Camacho, head of the educational and social program of the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya; Clara Florit, teacher at Escola del Mar; Maria Garreta, Yaiza Fernández, David Utanda and Dani Moreno, from Fundació ASPACE; and Alba García, from Fundació Vila Casas
