The Delegate’s Forum is a training, information and debate space for all UAB delegates. The Delegates from the faculties who are registered in ElCens are fundamental persons for a proper academic follow-up of the studies. The idea to create the Delegates’ Forum was born in the last Delegates’ Meeting in 2015, as an answer to cover the need for a more regular and specific training, and for a space for delegates to debate and strengthen ties with delegates from different UAB faculties.

The Delegates’ Forumconsists of training sessions of no more than 90 minutes, which take place once a month, about the themes that delegates valued as the most interesting in the evaluation form of December’s Delegates’ Meeting.  So far there have been 4 sessions: “Guidelines to carry out the delegates’ tasks”, “Can I be a grant beneficiary? Which one and how can I apply?”, “Uses of professor surveys” and “Tools for leadership and non-verbal communication”.

This academic year 162 delegates have attended the training sessions offered by ElCens, which next academic year will keep on working in order to improve the delegates’ skills. The delegate is an essential spokesperson, whose role is to promote a complete training so the students can be a key person in the education process.
