Second network seminar to bring closer seniors and young students

Margarita Arboix, Rector of the UAB, and Maria Jesús Comellas, promoter of the project and honorary professor of the Department of Applied Teaching, will welcome the seminar attendants. Following, will be the report and assessment of last year's seminar and project conducted up to date with a round table. Lastly, UB lecturer Begoña Roman will give a conference entitled "Caring for the Transmission of Knowledge In and From University: reflections from an ethical viewpoint”.
The XEC3 project from the Education Guidance and Development Research Group (GRODE) at the Department of Applied Teaching promotes the participation of senior citizens who no longer have professional obligations, as research project mentors for young students in collaboration with lecturers to provide the opportunity to participate by offering their knowledge and experience to different research groups.
