There is little time left before the UAB FM 2016 while we keep on working on last minute preparations for this year’s festival. The “Stop LGBTI-phobia in the UAB” campaign is starting up and this year our festival motto is our t-shirt logo as well.

The UAB FM 2016 is one of the most political FMs hosted by the UAB. A public university has the duty to fight discrimination and inequality in any form. Thus, the FM 2016 motto, “Stop LGBTI-phobia in the UAB”, aims to give visibility to LGBTI people and raise awareness about the difficulties this group is permanently put through. The FM offers the perfect chance to carry out both things since the UAB student community and the staff will gather together.

Members of the UAB staff, members of several student societies and students have worn the FM t-shirt in protest against sexual discrimination. Those who supported the campaign have been photographed wearing the t-shirt, and the photo album is coming out today. The fight against intolerance is crucial for the UAB, so we really count on you! If you would like to wear the t-shirt too, come and join the FM treasure hunt. This year, enjoy a safe, inclusive and non-sexist festival.

Finally, we remind you that in the FMUAB app you will find any information you need about the festival, such as the activity programme, the activities’ locations, information on public transport and the emergency phone number. The FM app is available for Android and Apple. Join in the UAB FM!
