Public transport tickets prices 2014
From 1st of January of 2014 the Integrated Fare System is updated, which implies an increase of public transport fares by 3,5% approximately regarding last year. However, ATM (Metropolitan Transport Authority) has chosen to freeze prices of tickets with unlimited travel (T-Mes, T-Trimestre and t-Jove).
The fares review keeps the social prices, with adjustments for unemployed people, large and one-parent families and children, among others. Information which can be found on the official website of ATM.
Concurrently, it’s approved the fare review of own titles of Rodalies, operated by Renfe, whose prices can be found here. As well, the T-10 corresponding to Sarbus has been updated too: one zone (8,25€) and two zones (16,25€). The annual and quarterly tickets of FGC keep his price in relation to last year
Expiry dates of integrated tickets
The transportation tickets will be valid until 28 February of 2014, except for the T- Trimestre, the T-Jove and the T-70/90 FM/FN, which can be used until 31 March of 2014. Tickets expiring and which have not started to be used can be exchanged at the customer service offices of the various transport companies, subject to payment of the price difference with regard to the applicable fares. The deadline for the replacement is 30 June of 2014.
