New workshop: An Integrated Approach to Sexualities and Affections

“Sexualitats i Afectivitats. Una mirada integradora”, organised by the Health Programme of the Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS) consists in a series of sessions held on 15, 22 and 29 November and on 13 and 20 December, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. The workshops will take on a critical and reflective view on sexuality, affection, pleasure, diversity in gender indentity and sexual orientation, sexual and reproductive rights, and prevention. Focus will be put on not only the individuality of each experience, but also the social, anthropological and political aspects which have determined, and continue to determine, how bodies experience each particular episode of pleasure and risk.

The workshop is offered at the UAB campus and costs €40. To obtain 2 ETCS credits, students will have to hand in a reflective essay and attend all sessions (100% attendance). Each week there will be a presentation outlining the contents of the session, which will combine theory with more dynamic activities.
