New grants for official master's degrees at the UAB
Twelve new grants, of between 5,000 and 10,000 Euros, are being offered by the Catalonia-La Pedrera Foundation to students on official master's degree programmes at the UAB next academic year. To be eligible, candidates will need to have Spanish nationality and an excellent academic track record, and must be dedicated full-time to the master's degree.

The aim of these grants is to promote excellence within top-quality master's programmes, and among students who aspire to join them.
Currently, these grants are for the following official master's degrees:
- Economic Analysis: 1 grant of 10,000 Euros.
- Bioinformatics: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Political Science: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- European Integration: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Spanish Language, Hispanic Literature and Spanish as a Foreign Language: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Modelling for Science and Engineering: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Nanotechnology and Materials Science 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Neurosciences: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Industrial Chemistry and Introduction to Chemical Research: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Computer Vision: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
- Computer Vision: 1 grant of 5,000 Euros.
To be eligible, candidates will need to have Spanish nationality and an excellent academic track record, and must be dedicated full-time to the master's degree.
Applications can be submitted until 15 July, 2013. To apply, candidates must contact the coordinator of the master's degree they are interested in (contact information can be found on the UAB official master's degrees web page).
