New calls for grant applications for teaching in English

The UAB has opened two calls for grant applications for teaching staff with the aim of making it easier to correct teaching materials in English and also to improve competence in English for the academic staff at the UAB, and thereby promote teaching in English.

From June both calls for language grants will be open within the framework of the Programme for the Promotion of Teaching in English (UAB Plan for Languages). See all the information, with deadlines and details using the UAB grants search tool.
 
The aim of the Call for grant applications for correction of teaching materials in English is to make it easier for lecturers who give degree course classes in English to have their materials corrected. 
 
There are two application periods: the first from 3 June to 15 July 2013 and the second during the first semester of the next academic year. Application should be presented on the application form and handed in at the UAB General Registry.
 
The aim of the Call for grant applications for improving teaching in English is to raise the level of competence among academic staff at the UAB teaching in English and the teaching quality, through language courses in English organised at the UAB at or above Level B2.1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
 
Applications should be presented from 1 June to 31 July 2013.
