New call for lecturing staff

On 27 April UAB opens its annual call for temporary teaching staff, junior lecturers and part-time lecturers at different University departments. Applications must be submitted by 26 May.

Applications must be submitted to the UAB General Register (Rectorate building) or as described in Article 38 of the Public Administrations and Common Administration Procedures Law (Llei de Règim Jurídic de les Administracions Públiques i del Procediment Administratiu Comú).

Junior lecturers
Candidates applying for junior lecturer posts ('professor lector') must have obtained an accreditation by either the AQU (Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Catalonia http://www.aqucatalunya.cat) or the ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain http://www.aneca.es). The duration of the contract is five years and the gross annual amount is 33,635¤.

Temporary part-time lecturers
The duration of the contract is one renewable year. Those applying for part-time lecturer posts ('professor associat') must attach a certificate of their work carried out in non-university sectors. This work certificate will be valid if the candidate can demonstrate having worked a minimum of two years in the last four years, either as an employee or self-employed.

Junior lecturers:
-Photocopy of your ID.
-Photocopy of your doctoral degree.
-Favourable report from AQU or accreditation from ANECA in the category of lecturer or assistant doctor.
-Curriculum Vitae.

Temporary part-time lecturers:
-Photocopy of your ID.
-Certificate of your work carried out in non-university sectors. This work certificate will be valid if the candidate can demonstrate having worked a minimum of two years in the last four years, either as an employee or self-employed.
-Curriculum Vitae.
