New call for grants for MBAs in China and India

Casa Àsia and the "la Caixa" Foundation aim to contribute to the professional training of directors and foster relations between Spain and Asia with a call Cavia ten grants for university graduates interested in taking a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in China or in India.

Six grants will be offered for those wishing to apply to the MBA in Shanghai's China Europe International Business School (CEIBS); two are offered for the MBA at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Business School; and two more for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad.

Programmes begin in 2012 and last from 12 to 20 months. Applications can be submitted until 5 September.

Grants cover travel expenses, enrolment fees, a monthly allowance of 910 Euros for Shanghai and Hyderabad and 1,400 Euros for Hong Kong, as well as 1,050 Euros for books and other expenses, student visa fees, and medical insurance. Those interested in applying at CEIBS also receive 1,000 Euros for the enrolment of a Mandarin languages course in Shanghai.
