New application to report incidents of public rail transport.
The Group of Research Seguretat en Xarxes I Aplicacions Distribuïdes (SENDA) at UAB has developed Incidències 2.0. A mobile application for the purpose of providing a free and simple information system, in real time, the state of public transport in Barcelona Metropolitan Area.
This application allows knowing, through the mobile phone, the incidents affect the subway and train. Incidències 2.0 is available for this mobile operating system: Android and iPhone.

The application works by the users notifications, as well as the incidents provided by operators of rail transport. Delays, breakdowns, schedule changes, etc. They are published in the system so that users know, at the real time, the state of the transport and minimize the effects that they may cause.
The main innovation of Incidències 2.0 is the automation in managing incidents that are made from the information provided by users, as to determine different attributes, give the degree of truth to the estimated duration you can have.
The application also is designed to report any incident that user thinks is interesting to report to other users. The application is open to any interesting proposal that users can make to improve it.
