Nearly 10,000 students to take the university entrance exams at the UAB
Some 10,000 students will be taking the university entrance exams (PAU) in different teaching centres of the UAB Bellaterra and Sabadell campuses on 9, 10 and 11 June.
Students will be distributed throughout the campus in 47 exam halls: 44 on the Bellaterra campus and three in Sabadell. In Bellaterra, the exams will take place in 12 faculties, in the School of Engineering, the Aulari Central, the Edifici Blanc, and the Rectorat building. In Sabadell, exams will be held in Rooms 344, 345 and 346.
The university entrance exams (PAU) will begin on Tuesday 9 June with the Spanish language and literature exam. On this first day, the foreign language tests will also take place and, in the afternoon, the exams for choir and vocal technique, physics, artistic foundations, geography, geology and environmental sciences and dramatic literature.
The entrance exams are divided into two phases: the general phase, which is mandatory, and the specific phase, which is voluntary for all student profiles and designed to improve the admission score. In Catalonia as a whole, this year a total of 45,821 students will be taking the exams. The results of the ordinary call will be published on 23 June.
