Memòria Càrnica Digital

Since early 2015 the Veterinary Library has been incorporated into the particular fund DDD slide vet and former professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Xavier Fàbregas i Comadran.

This September have incorporated the latest images, and currently Cárnica Memory Digital collection consists of more than 5,000 photographs free access, and exploitation rights protected, searchable and organized in 116 records.

The collection includes images of the subject of meat and veterinary inspection in slaughterhouses, the period from 1988 to 2012. The aim is to offer all professionals, technicians, researchers and students in grades related instrument digital consultation, useful for continuous training, and teaching.  

Scan jobs have been possible thanks to funding from the Catalan Association of History of Veterinary (ACHV), with the participation of the Consell de Col.legis of Veterinaris de Catalunya (CCVC), and the work of library staff Veterinary Medicine library UAB, Technical Unit of the library Service UAB and UAB Computing Service.
