Maple Course

The Maple program is a handle that allows cal algebraic or graphical representations interactively and quickly. The Department of Mathematics organizes an introductory course aimed at the entire university community (professors, students and step) and high school teachers.

The Maple program is an example of what is called in English Computer Algebra System (CAS), which translates as "symbolic computation system. " Capabilities of these types of programs ranging from a calculator with arbitrary precision which contains an extensive catalog of functions, even the possibility of all kinds of symbolic calculations, graphical representations through 2D and 3D high quality.

This course will show, practically, how to start working with a tool like this with an introduction to the basic choices of Maple.

It is not assumed that attendees have previous coneixments Maple or other computer algebra systems.
