The Language Service invites you to take a free level test. This test consists of a multiple-choice exercise, a writing exercise and an interview, and it is a good starting-point for planning your studies.

First-year students

The UAB requests all first-year students to take an English test to establish their level.

The vice rector for Academic Policy, Dr Donaire, has sent an email to all first-year undergraduate students asking them to take an online test in order to gauge their command of English on arrival at university.

The level tests can be taken up to 14 October.

After this date, the Language Service will send a personalised message to all first-year students, containing their result and resources for improving or maintaining their level. If you are a first-year student and would like to do the test, you will find instructions in the email mentioned above.
