Grants for students of affiliated schools

Around 300 students at schools affiliated to the Catalan public universities will receive a grant to partially compensate for the difference between their registration fee and the official fee for public universities. The budget for this year's grants is 98,000 Euros. and the call for applications will remain open until 9 September.

These grants are managed by the Agency for Administration of University and Research Grants (AGAUR). ACA grants are for students on university courses at affiliated schools under local ownership where the fees per credit are higher than those of Catalan public universities or the Open University of Catalonia.

They can be received by students registered on EHEA (European Higher Education Area) and non-EHEA degree courses at the following centres: The School of Social Sciences, the Manresa School of Health Sciences, and the Hospital de Sant Pau University School of Nursing, affiliated to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona; the Maresme University School, the Hospital del Mar School of Nursing and the Higher School of Health Sciences, affiliated to Pompeu Fabra University; and the Mataró Polytechnic School, affiliated to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Those wishing to apply for the grant can now submit their applications online, using the Virtual Citizen Care Office of the Generalitat de Catalunya, until 9 September. For more information on these grants please click on the following link:
