Exhibition about Joan Amades

During the month of December you can visit both in the library and the journals building of Humanities, the exhibition "Joan Amades, la memòria del poble" commemorating the 125th anniversary of the birth of Joan Amades, a leading ethnographer and folklorist of Catalonia.

This exhibition is organized by Sibhil·la (Servei d'Informació Bibliogràfica i de Documentació d'Història, Llengua, Literatura i Art de Catalunya) in collaboration with the Humanities Library.

The exhibition is complemented by a website containing an approach to the life and work of Joan Amades, as well as a selection of resources about him existing in our catalogs.
