The UAB Language Service is now starting its new multi-level courses in Spanish for newly arrived students (fourth week in October). Places are still available.

In Catalonia, Spanish is co-official with Catalan. Newly arrived students are interested in learning or perfecting their Spanish because, beyond its unquestionably global value, the language helps them integrate better into Catalan society and into the university. Knowledge of a Romance Language such as Spanish is also an excellent first step towards understanding and speaking Catalan, the home language both of Catalonia and the UAB.
The Language Service offers a wide range of Spanish courses (please consult the Spanish section on the LS website) and, from this year, also provides support for students wishing to study the language for specific needs. Don’t miss this chance!
