Debate leagues aim to promote the values of a critical society through dialect, particularly amongst younger students. The objective of the Xarxa Vives Network is to foster cross-curricular skills amongst students through the use of words. Year after year, the network consolidates the debate league as an educational activity, which can be seen by the number of teams registered to participate, over 250 from different secondary school centres in Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Andorra.
