In these past months, the pandemic has dominated the political sphere at a global scale and has made evident society's vulnerability to unexpected and global threats. What also became evident was the value of collective efforts in responding to these common challenges. With this collaborative spirit to advance, and with the will to contribute to building a more supportive and sustainable society, the UAB and the UAB Research Park launch a new initiative called COViDeació. Workshop sessions will be open to all members of the university community and of the UAB Sphere with the aim of collaborating on different social challenges.

The first workshops will be held on 22 and 23 July (from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.). These workshops will focus on finding solutions to the challenges arising in the field of cyber security. These challenges were detected and chosen by the Hub b30 platform and the strategic research communities conducting fieldwork throughout the region.

The first workshop will last 90 minutes and will be dedicated to the Lean Startup creativity techniques and business development methodologies, aimed at identifying valuable proposals for the solutions found and the impact these can have on society.

The second workshop, also lasting 90 minutes, will focus on the development of solutions through design thinking and brand prototype methodologies. The objective here is to achieve to validate, as quickly and easily as possible, the proposals generated by those attending the workshop. In addition, the UAB Open Labs and UAB Research Park offer their collaboration to help consolidate and provide continuity to the projects presented by participating teams, which can be of any discipline.

To participate in the workshops please sign up here.
