App&Town-UAB. A new web application for the route calculation.

App&Town UAB

UAB has developed, with MassFactory (an EBT of UAB), a new web application for the route calculation. This is App&Town-UAB, which you can calculate a route with origin and/or destination Campus, as well as routes inside on, by whatever available means of transport: on food, by bicycle, by collective public transportation, by car or motorbike. The application also allows planning trips according in terms of arrival and/or departure times and, in terms of the accessibility.

Results of the search include the total time of travel (door-to-door), adding all routes on food and by public transport. It also allows consulting the route and schedules of the lines.

The application places, above the Campus territory, bus and train stations and all information related to lines stopping there; it allows choosing between several usual map views; and it is available in Catalan, Spanish and English.
