Albert Martin and Gomez PhD student of the Department of Sociology, has been awarded with the first prize by the Young Sociologists association (Joves Sociòlegs) organized by the Institute of Catalan Studies and the Catalan Association of Sociology (Premis Sant Jordi 2012) in its sixteenth edition . The award was given to  "De la norma social a la dissidència. Un procés de transformació epistemològica pertorbador". He is currently developing his thesis based on this research.
