75 Leonardo da Vinci-UAB grants

EUROACCIÓ V is the project through which Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona oversees grants for the Leonardo programme. These grants make it possible for UAB graduates to undertake work experience in countries participating in the programme. This year UAB has been allocated 75 grants. Applications for this year's programme may be submitted until 29 October 2010.
The grants cover:
-14 weeks of work experience (with the first week for adaptation)
-Finding the company
-Language training for the language spoken in the host country
-Travel expenses to and from the host country
-Travel and health insurance
--Maintenance and
housing costs
-Tutoring during your work experience
The allocation of grants will be based on:
- Student record
- Search for the company where the applicant intends to carry out the work experience
- Reasons for undertaking the work experience
Language skills of the host country's language and certification must be provided in order to apply for the grant.
The countries offering internships for the year 2011 are: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and United Kingdom.
If applicants wish to find a company on their own, they will need to ask the company for a document stating their acceptance of the internship and present this document when applying for the grant. In this case applicants will also be responsible for finding accommodation and planning their trip.
A list of the accepted applications will be published on the Treball Campus website on 22 December 2010 at the latest.
