50 Leonardo work placement grants for unemployed graduates

11/04/2013
Leonardo da Vinci is a European Union programme created in 1995 to promote vocational training and education. The programme's main goal is to improve young people's individual skills and thus help them to enter the labour market. Euroacció is the project by which the UAB, through its Treball Campus employment service, handles the Leonardo programme's grants.
Characteristics of the grants
The UAB is currently offering 50 grants, one of which is reserved for persons with special needs. The duration of the placement will be 14 weeks. The destinations for 2013 are:
- Germany: 7 grants
- Ireland: 7 grants
- Italy: 8 grants
- Portugal: 5 grants
- United Kingdom: 23 grants, one of which is for persons with special needs.

The selection process is not open to those taking master's degrees, PhDs, or other graduate studies.
