15th Conference on Cable and Broadband in Catalonia

The 15th Conference on Cable and Broadband in Catalonia will be held from 4 to 6 May. The conferences will take place at UAB's School of Engineering at the Sabadell campus. This year experts will focus on several aspects of broadband in Catalonia such as its implementation, effects, etc.

The Centre for Cable Studies (CECABLE) organises its 15th Conference on Cable and Broadband in Catalonia which will take place on 4, 5 and 6 May at the UAB School of Engineering located at the Sabadell campus. This year experts will focus on several aspects of broadband in Catalonia such as its implementation, impact, etc.

Attending the conference will be representatives of leading technological firms such as Gonçal Bonhomme, Corporate Development Director at Orange; Alfonso Aguado, Marketing Director at Ericsson Spain; and José María Martínez, Business and Development Director at Wifidom.

The three days will include speeches and round tables to debate issues on broadband in Catalonia, services and contents of broadband networks, evolution of cable broadband installations, cyber security, impacts of broadband networks, and more broadband for TV and mobiles.

CECABLE is an international centre for the study, research, information and dissemination of cable and broadband telecommunications and related services.
