The UAB approves the new Information Security Policy and Security Regulations
The Governing Council of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona has approved the University's new Information Security Policy, as well as the corresponding Security Regulations, which establish the institutional framework to guarantee the protection of the University's information and ICT systems.
These documents define the principles, criteria and obligations that must govern the secure management of information in all areas of the university community. The objective is to ensure adequate management of information assets and establish the necessary guidelines to guarantee their confidentiality, integrity and availability.
With this initiative, the UAB reinforces its commitment to information security and the protection of technological systems that support academic, research and management activity.
