Once again, the UAB participates in the Bo Festival of Artistic Experiences in Nature and Proximity, which this year reaches its fifth edition and consists of a meeting space for art, nature and community. The UAB will host a performance in the Plaça Cívica and an artistic walk through the forests of the campus and its surroundings.

Bo Festival

The UAB will be the stage for the first and last activity of the festival. The first day of the festival will take place on 16 October at the UAB's Plaça Cívica, with the performance of Guiar, by Magí Serra. The performance, which will begin at 5:30 p.m., proposes a participatory experience that reflects on the relationship between the body, space and everyday movement within the campus environment. This performance is also included in the UAB's First Culture and Health Week.

And on Saturday 18 October, the closing day of the festival will consist of the traditional artistic walk through the forests of the UAB and Bellaterra. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Torre Vilapuig (Vila Universitària), headquarters of the AmicsUAB association. During the walk, participants will be able to enjoy performances by Llum de Fideu, Claudio Stellato, Juan Carlos Panduro, Alizze Wiz, Nikita Val & Lucho Angelino, La Churry and Pere Seda. The proposals will combine different scenic languages such as dance, music, circus, clown and landscape theatre. Beverages and snacks will be available at the end of the walk.

The Bo Festival will take place in Cerdanyola del Vallès and Sant Quirze del Vallès. After its first edition in 2022 in the forests of the UAB, the project has evolved as an interdisciplinary local proposal, which aims to bring quality contemporary creation closer to natural environments and local communities. The aim is to make culture accessible, give visibility to creative processes, and foster a connection with the land in a sustainable way.

Organised by the ElClimamola production company, specialised in contemporary stage creation, the festival includes the collaboration of the UAB, the Sant Quirze del Vallès City Council, the Ministry for Culture of the Government of Catalonia, and the collaboration of the Sabadell performing arts group "L'Estruch - Fàbrica de Creació de les Arts en Viu".
