The UAB launches "El meu espai", a new inter-administrative consultation tool

The UAB now offers a new webpage, El meu espai, that aims to be a citizen folder where to consult different administrative procedures. The web was developed by the Open Administration Consortium of Catalonia (Consorci Administració Oberta de Catalunya, AOC). This space centralises all the information on administration procedures directly related to the user in question.

Users can access the site with their digital ID and once inside will be able to:

• Consult procedures conducted through any of the public administration areas.
• Access notifications and communications shared by the administration.
• Visualise traces (without including personal data), i.e., the registry of inquiries the Catalan administration has made on user information, with details on the organism, service, purpose, file number and date.
• Review authentifications and e-signatures found on the AOC portals and other Catalan administration areas.

The service is available exclusively online for citizens with a digital ID, and is offered through the El meu espai platform, administered by the AOC consortium in collaboration with the UAB.

To reinforce transparency and participation, the portal includes a space to make suggestions or put forward ideas on how to improve the Electronic Office and Transparency service that the AOC offers. Users can also consult the social benefits to which they can apply depending on their current situation, as well as access information on selection processes and job exchanges throughout Catalonia.

In case of any technical difficulties, users can contact the UAB's IT Service Assistance and Support Centre (CAS) using the email address and telephone number indicated on the website.

El meu espai, therefore, represents a major step in the digitalisation of the relationship between citizens and public administrations, facilitating access to administrative information in a clear, secure and centralised manner.
