The UAB is sad to announce the death of Vicente Alcántara
Vicente Alcántara, lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics, passed away on 24 April 2025. The UAB extends its heartfelt condolences to the people who knew and loved him and expresses its sadness for having lost a member of its community.
Vicente Alcántara Escolano was lecturer in the Department of Applied Economics at the UAB.
He taught at the Faculty of Economics and Business until his retirement, when he was made an honorary professor.
